The R385 6-12V DC Diaphragm Mini Aquarium Water Pump is a non-submersible pump ideal for various liquid movement applications. It provides sufficient pressure for use with a nozzle to create a spray system. The pump can handle heated liquids up to 80°C and, when properly powered, can draw water through a tube from up to 2 meters and pump water vertically up to 3 meters.
Potential uses and projects include small aquarium pumps, automatic plant watering systems, water features, or even music-activated dancing water displays. It operates quietly when pumping liquids, but is noticeably louder when pumping air.
The R385 operates on 6 to 12V DC and requires 0.5 to 0.7A, achieving optimal performance at the higher end of these ranges.
This pump can be used for watering plants, creating fountains or waterfalls, and changing aquarium water. It operates quietly with a sound level below 30db and includes a built-in filter and a suction cup to secure it tightly to smooth surfaces.
