KY-024 Linear Magnetic Hall Effect Sensor Module
The KY-024 Linear Magnetic Hall Effect Sensor Module has a digital interface and a built-in LED to create a simple magnetic field warning lamp. When the Hall magnetometer sensor detects a magnetic field, the LED lights up; otherwise, it remains off.
The Hall switch integrated circuit uses the Hall effect principle. It is manufactured using semiconductor integrated technology and is composed of a voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, differential amplifier, Schmitt trigger, temperature compensation, and an open-collector output stage. The sensor’s input is the magnetic induction intensity, and the output is a digital voltage signal.
A magnetic field is detected by the sensor and will be output as an analog voltage value. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer.
