The TowerPro SG90 Continuous Rotation 360 Degree Servo Motor stands out among available servo motors because its operation differs from that of a standard servo. Instead of moving to a specific angle, this servo remains stationary at a 1.5ms pulse; a longer pulse results in forward rotation, while a shorter pulse leads to backward rotation.
This servo features carbon fiber gears, making it significantly lighter than metal gear motors. For small load applications, using a metal gear servo can add unnecessary weight, so we recommend opting for these lightweight plastic gear servo motors.
As a digital servo motor, it processes PWM signals more quickly and efficiently. Its advanced internal circuitry provides excellent torque, holding power, and rapid updates in response to external forces.
