RCWL-0516 Microwave Radar Sensor

The RCWL-0516 Microwave Radar Sensor module offers an alternative to traditional PIR motion sensors commonly used in security systems and lighting. Unlike PIR sensors, which detect infrared radiation from moving objects, this module uses microwave Doppler radar to sense movement within its range.

The sensor has a detection range of approximately 7 meters. When movement is detected, the TTL-level output (OUT) pin switches from LOW (0 V) to HIGH (3.3 V) for about 2 to 3 seconds before returning to its idle LOW state.

This versatile sensor module can be integrated with various microcontrollers or used independently. It supports power supply inputs ranging from 4 to 28 V.

The output pin can be used for various applications, such as activating alarms or visual indicators, or interfacing with the I/O of a 3-V microcontroller for additional processing. For optimal performance, avoid placing any metal objects in front.

Return Shipping Costs

• Change of mind returns: A flat return shipping fee of ₹100 will be deducted from your refund amount.

• Processing Time: 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
• Refund Amount: Full purchase price minus any applicable return shipping fees.
• Orders canceled before shipping receive a full refund (minus up to 5% payment gateway charges, if applicable).

Replacements

Warranty Terms

All products include a minimum 15-day warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise specified on the product page.
