The NTC Thermistor temperature sensor module is a compact and affordable device that is highly sensitive to ambient temperature. It is primarily used for monitoring the temperature of the surrounding environment. The temperature detection threshold can be adjusted using a potentiometer.
The digital output (DO) can be directly connected to a microcontroller to detect high or low temperature levels by monitoring changes in the environment.
This module has a temperature detection range of 20 to 80 degrees Celsius and can serve as a line temperature sensor for applications such as water temperature control in tanks.
Typically, the four-wire method of thermistor measurement provides the most accurate results, as it minimizes the current flowing through the measurement cables, thus eliminating any additional resistance caused by the wires.
