The ESP32 features a powerful 32-bit dual-core processor with a clock speed ranging from 160MHz to 240MHz, while the ESP8266 operates with a single-core CPU clocking at approximately 80MHz.
Due to its higher speed, the ESP32 consumes more power than the ESP8266.
