IR Sensor Module

The IR Sensor Module is designed with excellent adaptability to ambient light and features a pair of infrared transmitter and receiver tubes. The infrared emitter sends out a signal at a specific frequency, and when an object is detected (i.e., a reflective surface is encountered), the signal is reflected back to the receiver. After being processed by a comparator circuit, the green LED indicator lights up and a digital signal (low level) is output.

The module includes a potentiometer that allows you to adjust the detection range between 2 cm and 10 cm. It operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. With minimal interference and easy assembly, the sensor is user-friendly and versatile.

Applications include:-

• Obstacle detection in robotics

• Obstacle avoidance systems

• Assembly line object counting

• Black and white line tracking for line-following robots

Features of IR Sensor Module:-

• When the module detects obstacles in front of the signal, the circuit board green indicator light level, while the OUT port continuous output low-level signals, the module detects a distance of 2 ~ 10cm, detection angle 35 °, the detection distance can be potential adjustment with adjustment potentiometer clockwise, the increase in detection distance; counterclockwise adjustment potentiometer, the detection distance decreased.
  
• the sensor active infrared reflection detection, target reflectivity and shape of the detection distance of the key. The black minimum detection range, white maximum; small area object distance is small, a large area from the large.
  
• The sensor module output port OUT can be directly connected with the microcontroller IO port can also be driven directly to a 5V relay; Connection: VCC-VCC; GND-GND; OUT-IO.
  
• The comparator using LM393, stable.
  
• 3-5V DC power supply module can be used. When the power is turned on, the red power LED is lit.
  
• With the screw holes of 3mm, easy to install.
  
• Board size: 3.1CM * 1.5CM.
  
• Each module in the delivery has threshold comparator voltage adjustable via potentiometer, special circumstances, please do not adjust the potentiometer.
  

Interface(3-wire):-

• VCC external 3.3V-5V voltage (can be directly connected with the a 5v microcontroller and 3.3v microcontroller).
  
• GND external GND.
  
• OUT board digital output interface (0 and 1).

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

• In their original, unused condition
• In the original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and free gifts (if any)
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

Note: Products damaged due to misuse, modification, static discharge, soldering, or improper handling may not be eligible for return.

Return Pickup Process

We arrange the return pickup for you - hassle-free returns similar to major e-commerce platforms.

• Once your return is approved, we will coordinate pickup from your location.
• Pack the product securely in its original packaging.

• Keep the package ready - our logistics partner will collect it at the scheduled time.

Return Shipping Costs

• Defective, damaged, or wrong items: ROBODIUM™ covers all return shipping costs. No charges to you.
• Change of mind returns: A flat return shipping fee of ₹100 will be deducted from your refund amount.

Refund Process

• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to your original payment method.
• Processing Time: 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
• Refund Amount: Full purchase price minus any applicable return shipping fees.
• Orders canceled before shipping receive a full refund (minus up to 5% payment gateway charges, if applicable).

Replacements

• Once the returned item is inspected and approved, we ship the replacement at no additional cost.
• Replacement items are dispatched within 2 business days of receiving your return.
• If replacement is unavailable, we provide a full refund.

Warranty Terms

All products include a minimum 15-day warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise specified on the product page.

Warranty does not cover: misuse, soldering damage, modifications, physical damage, or incorrect electrical connections.

Order Cancellations

• Orders in Pending or Payment Verification status can be canceled for a full refund.
• Contact us immediately at support@robodium.com to cancel before shipping.
• Once an order is shipped, it cannot be canceled but can be returned after delivery.
