Description  

The IR Sensor Module is designed with excellent adaptability to ambient light and features a pair of infrared transmitter and receiver tubes. The infrared emitter sends out a signal at a specific frequency, and when an object is detected (i.e., a reflective surface is encountered), the signal is reflected back to the receiver. After being processed by a comparator circuit, the green LED indicator lights up and a digital signal (low level) is output.

The module includes a potentiometer that allows you to adjust the detection range between 2 cm and 10 cm. It operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. With minimal interference and easy assembly, the sensor is user-friendly and versatile.

Applications include:-

  • Obstacle detection in robotics

  • Assembly line object counting

  • Black and white line tracking for line-following robots


Features of IR Sensor Module:-

  • When the module detects obstacles in front of the signal, the circuit board green indicator light level, while the OUT port continuous output low-level signals, the module detects a distance of 2 ~ 10cm, detection angle 35 °, the detection distance can be potential adjustment with adjustment potentiometer clockwise, the increase in detection distance; counterclockwise adjustment potentiometer, the detection distance decreased.

  • With the screw holes of 3mm, easy to install.

  • Each module in the delivery has threshold comparator voltage adjustable via potentiometer, special circumstances, please do not adjust the potentiometer.

Interface(3-wire):-

  • VCC external 3.3V-5V voltage (can be directly connected with the a 5v microcontroller and 3.3v microcontroller).
  • GND external GND.
  • OUT board digital output interface (0 and 1).

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • In their original, unused condition

Note: Products damaged due to misuse, modification, static discharge, soldering, or improper handling may not be eligible for return.

Return Pickup Process

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective, damaged, or wrong items: ROBODIUM™ covers all return shipping costs.
  • Change-of-mind returns: ₹100 return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund.

Refund Process

  • Refund Method: Original payment method
  • Processing Time: 5–7 business days after inspection
  • Refund Amount: Full purchase price minus applicable return shipping fees
  • Orders canceled before shipping receive a full refund (minus up to 5% payment gateway charges, if applicable)

Replacements

  • Replacement is shipped after the returned item is inspected and approved
  • Dispatched within 2 business days of receiving the return
  • If replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued

Warranty Terms

All products include a minimum 15-day warranty against manufacturing defects, unless otherwise specified on the product page.

Warranty does not cover misuse, soldering damage, modifications, physical damage, or incorrect electrical connections.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders in Pending or Payment Verification status can be canceled for a full refund
  • Contact us immediately before shipping to cancel an order
  • Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled but can be returned after delivery
