Description  

An LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), also known as a photoresistor, is a resistor whose resistance changes based on the amount of light it receives. This particular LDR is a larger model, measuring 5mm in size.

To use it, connect one terminal of the photoresistor to a power source (such as 5V) and the other terminal to the analog input pin of your microcontroller. Add a 10K pull-down resistor between the analog pin and ground. In bright light conditions, the voltage on the pin will be 2.5V or higher, while in darkness, it will be close to ground level.

This sensor is suitable for various applications, including light sensing, color sensing, object detection, and line following.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective, damaged, or wrong items: ROBODIUM™ covers all return shipping costs.
  • Change-of-mind returns: ₹100 return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund.

Refund Process

  • Refund Method: Original payment method
  • Processing Time: 5–7 business days after inspection
  • Refund Amount: Full purchase price minus applicable return shipping fees
  • Orders canceled before shipping receive a full refund (minus up to 5% payment gateway charges, if applicable)

Replacements

  • Replacement is shipped after the returned item is inspected and approved
  • Dispatched within 2 business days of receiving the return
  • If replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued

Warranty Terms

All products include a minimum 15-day warranty against manufacturing defects, unless otherwise specified on the product page.

Warranty does not cover misuse, soldering damage, modifications, physical damage, or incorrect electrical connections.

  • Orders in Pending or Payment Verification status can be canceled for a full refund

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled but can be returned after delivery
