The MAX30100 is a combined pulse oximeter and heart-rate monitor sensor. It uses an optical method to measure readings by emitting two wavelengths of light—red and infrared—through two LEDs, then detecting the light absorbed by the pulsing blood with a photodetector. This specific LED color combination is optimized for reading data from a fingertip. The device is fully configurable via software registers, with the digital data stored in a 16-level FIFO buffer. It communicates with a host microcontroller through an I2C interface.

The pulse oximetry system in the MAX30100 includes ambient light cancellation (ALC), a 16-bit sigma-delta ADC, and a proprietary discrete-time filter. Its ultra-low power consumption makes it ideal for battery-powered systems. The MAX30100 operates with a power supply range of 1.8V to 3.3V and can be powered down through software, allowing the power supply to stay connected with minimal standby current. It is suitable for use in wearable devices, fitness trackers, medical monitors, and similar applications.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Change-of-mind returns: ₹100 return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund.

Replacements

Warranty Terms

All products include a minimum 15-day warranty against manufacturing defects, unless otherwise specified on the product page.

Warranty does not cover misuse, soldering damage, modifications, physical damage, or incorrect electrical connections.
